Clear bra, or PPF, is a clear film that bonds to the surface of the paintwork for much needed protection against everyday environmental elements. This near invisible film absorbs impacts and prevents paint damage. Our clear bra installations use the Suntek® Clear Bra to protect your car from all of the gravel, rocks, and road debris that damages your paintwork.
Our detailers can customize the installation to your specifications, from only a portion of the car to your entire vehicle. Our commitment to quality means we are obsessed with giving you a more invisible look compared to our competitors. The final result is a clean, protected car.
Clear bra, or PPF, is a clear film that bonds to the surface of the paintwork for much needed protection against everyday environmental elements. This almost invisible film absorbs impacts and prevents paint damage. Clear bra will take the abuse from daily driving and save the paint from becoming riddled with rock chips and road rash.
Depending on use and care, the Clear Bra will last up to 10 years. The films today all carry a manufacturer's warranty of 10 years. At that point in time, it would be wise to remove and replace the film (effectively giving your car a facelift and a new look overall once the old film is removed and replaced).
While both type of installs will look clean and presentable, some people desire fewer seams and edges to be seen. With our Standard install, 95% of the panel is covered. There will be a small corner showing, and a few edges into the next panel. We do a standard ½” wrap where possible (around the corners on both sides). Our Custom install has fewer to no seams and edges, wrapped and capped corners, and we remove all easy accessible items. This teardown takes more time and careful effort, but provides a much cleaner look in the end. Visit this blog post for more info
That depends on how the car will be used and the conditions it will see. If you are doing normal everyday driving on highways and streets, our full front should be sufficient. The track package is where the lower rockers and higher impact areas are protected, typically on track cars and higher performance cars.
